  Outcome of The Visit

  The validation reports on germination, moisture content and tetrazolium test were prepared during the visit and the proposal for validation on germination, moisture content and tetrazolium test has been sent to ISTA committee for approval. Many visits relevant to this project were organised by Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. Asure quality laboratory visit was also arranged which is ISTA (International Seed Testing Association) accredited laboratory of New Zealand and responsible for seed testing for Export and national seed production in New Zealand. This laboratory provides orange certificates after testing for export of seed for New Zealand and Australia. This laboratory provides test facilities for Purity, Germination, Identification, Moisture, 1000 seed weight, Vigour, Tetrazolium, Health, Endophyte and Seed Crop Isolation Distance system (SCID).

  Workshop Overview

  A 10days International workshop was organized during the visit of International PI and Co-PI of this project i.e. from November 20-29, 2019 at CCS HAU, Hisar. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. K.P. Singh, worthy vice-chancellor, CCS HAU, Hisar and valedictory function was chaired by Dr. S.K. Sehrawat, Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar.
