    Workshop Overview

    An Indo-Australian workshop on Integrated Urban Water Management Systems was
    held in Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (India) on Nov 4-6, 2019. The
    workshop was jointly organized by IIT Kharagpur and The University of Melbourne
    under the aegis of SPARC program. The objective of the workshop was to find
    actionable ways to improve the urban water service delivery in India through
    discussions that represented variety of stakeholders. The workshop was attended by
    delegates comprising academicians, practitioners, impact organization, charitable
    trusts, NGOs as well as faculty and student community of IIT Kharagpur.
    The core findings of the workshops were that there is a need for a common platform
    in India, where diverse stakeholders in urban water sector can collaborate to better
    understand the problems and find solutions to the underlying problems related with
    urban water system delivery.
